View Ridge Elementary School

Attention volunteers!  The nominating committee is looking for people to run the following committees for the school year of 2010-2011.  The time commitments range from very short (for a 1 day event) to year long (Newsette Co-Chair) and everything in between.  Put your talents to use by considering volunteering for any of the following:
 
Newsette Co-Chair  *looking for people knowledgeable in html mail and web-based delivery models to assist current Co-Chair
Additional Audit Committee Members (time commitment is only several hours over the summer and several hours in November )
Scholastic Book Fair Chairs  (event takes place in November)
Green Team Co-Chair  (commitment through the school year)
Art Night Chairs (event takes place early spring)
Chess Club Chairs (runs for 16 weeks October - March.  This job is to help organize the club - you do not need to know how to play chess -    coaches that run the club are hired individuals)
 
Science Resources Co-Chair (event takes place early spring)
Grown Up to Lunch Chair (time commitment is for the week of the event, which is usually in February)
Ice Cream Social Chair  (event in April or May)
4th grade Camp Chair  (event takes place in spring)
Buddy Family Program Chair  (time commitment would be late summer/early fall as new families are transferring in - this program is set up to help new families coming in to View Ridge)
