Dear View Ridge Families:

Hello!  A big welcome and welcome back to all the new and returning View Ridge families!  We hope you had a fun and relaxing summer and are energized for the 2010-2011 school year.  We want to bring your attention to some important information regarding the first weeks of school, the View Ridge PTA, and some important dates to keep in mind.  First of all, please pay particular attention to the “Yellow Sheet” in your first week packet.  This sheet will be used for a variety of purposes, including the school directory, signing up for website access, PTA Membership, ordering yearbooks, and more.  It is extremely helpful to the PTA if this information is submitted to the office soon after the first day of school.  Thanks in advance for your attention!

View Ridge PTA is a private, non-profit Parent Teacher Association with a mission to support View Ridge learners, teachers, parents, staff, and encourage the building of community. Our PTA is affiliated with the Washington State PTA, but is not connected to the Seattle School District, although we are strong supporters of Seattle Public Schools. The View Ridge PTA supports a number of committees ranging from Family Support to Staff Appreciation. We also support our classrooms by contributing to our school's budget, enabling View Ridge historically to respond flexibly to District budget constraints.
