View Ridge Book Fair November 13-17
It’s almost that time! The book fair is an annual fundraising event that takes place in the View Ridge library. We’re partnering with the University Book Store to bring you a huge selection of books, supplies, Husky gear, and lots more.
When is the book fair open? This year, we’ll be open all week during first and last recess — as well as after school. However, we will not be open after school on Wednesday.
Want to buy a book for your child’s class? Teachers have a designated shelf with titles that they love.
Books make wonderful gifts. Encourage friends and family to visit www.ubookstore.com and purchase books during Nov. 13-19. Don’t forget to kindly remind them to use promo code ‘VRE’ when checking out.
What about the pajama party? We’ll have our traditional evening pajama party from 6:00-8:00 Wednesday evening. Come in your PJs and listen to Ms. Young and our new V.P. Kristine McLane read stories! Milk and cookies provided in the lunchroom.
All proceeds from the book fair will buy new books for our beloved library. Our goal, this year, is to raise $3,000.
Volunteer Needs:
As you might expect, we will need many parents to help make this all happen.
Volunteering is easy and organized into a variety of shifts. You get to check out all of the new titles, connect with some great parents, and support our library. No prior experience is required.
