Sock Drive–An Opportunity to Give!

Facebooktwittermail

Please help us with a school-wide buddy classroom giving project.  From January 2nd to January 19th, we are collecting NEW ADULT SOCKS for Urban Rest Stop, a hygiene center in the University District.  Urban Rest Stop provides free restrooms, showers, and laundry facilities to homeless men, women, and children.  Our goal is to collect 500 pairs of socks, but we are certain we can surpass this goal!

After winter break, students can bring sock donations to their classrooms or put them in the donation containers in the hallway across from the office.  Buddy classrooms will be getting together in January to make cheerful cards to accompany our sock donation.

Thank you in advance!
