Greetings View Ridge Elementary Family and Staff:

It is with a very heavy heart that I am writing to let you know I will be leaving Seattle Public Schools. This was not an easy decision but one based on the needs of my family.  I look forward to being there for them through this pandemic to assist them with their schooling and other needs.

I started at View Ridge Elementary 5 years ago and have become a part of this incredible VRE family made up of students, staff, and families.  I have grown very attached to this community, made life-long friends and will dearly miss each and every one of you, especially the students.

Beginning on Monday, Nov. 16, Ms. Paula Henn will be taking over as Interim Principal. She has been the assistant principal at Genesee Hill Elementary for the last two years. She has a passion for empowering young people in their learning and growth and supporting teachers to lead professional development.

I’d like to thank you for your gracious support throughout the years and know you will welcome Principal Henn into this great community.
