The Otter Fund is the single fundraiser the View Ridge PTA. The Otter Fund raises money for all PTA spending this year – including school events, assemblies, Camp Orkila, 5th grade graduation, and books and supplies for every classroom and specialist. The Otter Fund also funds additional staff for next school year (via a check the PTA writes to the district in March 2020).
Our goal is to reach 100% participation in the Otter Fund. Participation will look different for every family but all that is required is that you return the pledge card or donate online – whether that includes a monetary pledge, a pledge of your time, or simply that you cannot give any further at this time. Each classroom that reaches 100% participation will receive a donut party for the class! And every family participating will be entered into drawings for fun prizes like Principal for a Day!
