Mondays Grades K-5 / 8 meetings / Cost: $192 / Register / Questions: email or (425) 283-0549

Explore the sunny weather and beautiful beaches of Florida, as we create a palm tree sculpture. Next, we will head up the coast, hit the Big Apple, and create a NYC slab candle holder. Let’s go south and visit The Lone Star state, Texas! We will design a textured cowboy boot plaque. We will continue trekking into the deserts of the Southwest as we design a textured cactus displayed in a terracotta pot. Finally, we will land in our state, Washington. Here we will create a state wall hanging with a custom symbol. Join us on this adventure across America as we learn about geographical landmarks, fun city facts, and new clay techniques all while creating amazing hand built clay pieces. All pieces will be glazed and kiln fired.

Piano Keyboard Club

Mondays: Grades K-5 (8 meetings) / Cost: $160 / Register / Questions: Email Warren at musicalminds@hotmail.com or call 310-478-5859

Kids will have the opportunity to learn to play their favorite songs and music on electric keyboards. Radio hits, movie and television themes are made so easy, that our participants will be playing them after the very first class! The club is a combination of keyboard piano lessons and a music learning workshop, which uses a clever visual method to teach the basics of music reading and piano playing. We’ve developed lots of learning games and activities designed to teach kids basic music reading skills and playing techniques, in ways that are fun, engaging, and stimulating. We want our students to stay motivated and continue to want to learn to play music, whether they like Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, Macklemore or Beethoven. We have all the music they want. We have music from Frozen, Stars Wars, Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones, and lots more. Each participant has his/her own keyboard supplied during the class, along with headphones, and books and other materials are included.

Fun comes first in every TGA class, but our curriculum also focuses on instilling self confidence and life values through professional golf instruction. Students learn the fundamentals, etiquette and rules of the game in the comfortable environment of your school campus with a low 10:1 student to professional instructor ratio. Best of all, we provide all the equipment and training materials so children of all skill levels have the chance to come out and tee it up with TGA!

Creative Coding 4 Kids (Mixed Level class)

Tuesdays (9 meetings)  Time: 3:55-4:25 (1.5 hrs.)/ Cost: $269

Thursdays (8 meetings) Time: 3:55-4:25 (1.5 hrs.)/ Cost: $239

*Note: This session will be a mixed-level class for grades 3-5 with students being taught at their level. 2nd graders who are enthusiastic about coding may be accepted on a case by case basis. Contact teachers@creativecoding4kids.com.

Creative Coding teaches your child to code by helping them make their own custom video games! Our project-based, multi-level classes are amazingly fun yet very effective in teaching creative problem solving AND emotional resilience. As your creative girl or boy has fun bringing their ideas to life, they iterate through the emotional cycle of Coding (idea->excitement->effort->frustration->more effort->triumph!) With our support and positive encouragement. Repeating this cycle not only builds great coders, but more importantly, develops emotional persistence that will help students enjoy taking on new challenges in all aspects of their lives.
Students new to coding will participate in the Creative Coding core curriculum, learning the fundamental elements of coding using MIT’s Scratch to create their very own computer games!

Students with previous Scratch experience will enjoy the Advanced Curriculum, where each day contains a unique mix of coding challenges, techniques, and hacks. Our classes are designed to be repeated an infinite number of times. As students complete a class, they go up one level, like in video games, and increase their coding skills, speed and proficiency.
Many parents and educators are realizing that the benefits of learning to code at a young age extend far beyond the skill itself. Through the “brain exercise” of coding, coders build intelligence like athletes build muscles. Just as importantly, they develop stronger problem solving skills, confidence over technology, and emotional persistence.

FitKids is a program that is geared towards kids and their specific developmental needs. Our program is the principal strength and conditioning program for many young athletes. It delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general, and inclusive. Healthy living requires that our kids push, pull, run, throw, climb, lift, jump, effectively and safely regardless of whether or not they play any athletics. FitKids goal is to support the specialist, but reward the generalist.   Here at CrossFit Deliverance, our kids program is a challenging and socially interactive strength and conditioning program. We use activities that kids naturally enjoy by providing a program that is safe, fun and energetic. Every session includes a warm-up, focus work on a basic athletic movement and or gymnastic skill, a short workout of the day, and games. We make fitness FUN!
