After-school activities are in the works for the 2016-2017 school year already! Typically start at the end of September or beginning of October. Classes are 1 hour long and occur on every weekday except Wednesday. FYI: Wednesdays are days with early releases and staff meetings, which make hosting these classes difficult. In the past, we have offered classes covering Spanish, Mandarin, chess, debate, cake decorating, Legos, yoga, Zumba, basketball, math, hip hop dance, animation, and more! Contact your After-school Coordinators (Julie Scales or Christina Fong) with general enrichment questions.

Interested in volunteering? Most of our Enrichment providers welcome parent volunteers to help with the activity or with logistical matters, such as set-up and sign-in. Please contact providers directly to inquire. Background checks are required for all school and activity volunteers. Contact Julie Scales 일반적인 강화 질문으로.
방과후 프로그램에 참여하려면 학부모와 학생은 다음 정책을 준수하는 데 동의해야합니다.:
출석: Parents are responsible for reminding their children of after-school activities and for Kindergartners, for notifying their classroom teacher about an after-school activity. If your child is home sick or will be absent from an after school activity, please contact the Enrichment instructor as soon as possible to let them know.
픽업 정책: For after-school activities, parents are expected to arrive by the end of class for pickup. In the event of a late pick up, parents should contact the activity provider (or parent volunteer) directly as soon as possible. (The Enrichment provider and/or parent volunteer–rather than the school office and PTA–is responsible to supervise students until pickup.) If parents are more than 5 minutes late, or are repeatedly late, activity providers may assess charges or suspend enrollment, depending on the circumstances and the activity provider’s policy.
Transition time from school day to activities: After school, students are responsible for going directly from their homerooms to the Enrichment activity classroom. You will have this information on the registration/information flier from that Enrichment provider. Kindergartners will be escorted from their classroom to the Enrichment classroom by a parent volunteer, unless otherwise agreed by the teacher, Enrichment provider and parent. (Chess is the only exception to this: all chess students will go directly to the lunchroom.)
행동 강령: Students are expected to maintain the same behavioral standard that they would have during the formal school day. If a child is consistently disruptive and prevents the instructor from conducting class, the Enrichment provider/instructor reserves the right to ask the child to drop the class. Parents will be given a formal warning before these measures are taken.
알레르기: Parents of students with severe allergies are responsible for contacting the Enrichment provider / instructor in order to develop a formal health concern plan.
