Statement of Collective Bargaining Agreement

Facebooktwittermail

View Ridge PTA aligns with Washington State and National PTA standards of affiliation to remain neutral in the collective bargaining process.

We have to stay neutral because the outcomes might not be favorable for the teachers or the community, but this is the process. Union labor is a right of workers and we believe that this action is a fundamental right to protect the working conditions that are sustainable for our buildings.

We understand that this is hard on our families, and a lot of families are feeling strained. There will be a lot of hard feelings and we must protect our teachers and staff.

We do not condone the harassment or intimidation of Union labor.

If you need support, please reach out to us, and we will help link you with families in mutual aid.

If you would like to support the teachers in walking the picket line, and with your kids, this is a great lesson in civics. Please feel to support. You will see a sign up genius in our community.
