Poet Charles Waters, K-5 assembly

The View Ridge Equity Team is excited to bring poet Charles Waters to View Ridge on Tuesday, January 23rd for an all school assembly.  Mr. Water’s has co-written the book Can I Touch Your Hair? Poems of Race, Mistakes and Friendship with Irene Latham. He describes his book as a conversation about race and how we relate to one another . . . and our hopes for the future.

Order forms to receive an autographed copy can be found here or in the library.  Please return forms to Ms. Young in the library by Tuesday, January 16th.
