School Supplies for 2022-2023

Facebooktwittermail

Hey parents!

We are happy to announce that we have brought back school supply kits this year! No longer is purchasing a back-to-school supply kit a luxury, it is a necessity. With all the supply chain issues it is the only way to order back-to-school supplies for next year.

Your amazing teachers have pre-planned all the supplies you will need, with the brands they want, all into a convenient kit that will be waiting for your child on the first day of school! We will be providing kits for families who need some extra help this year, but you can help us cover the cost of those kits by donating one! This helps us leverage our budget for other great activities and support around the school.

If you were unable to order the school supplies from the PTA at the end of the year, here is the list for the fall.

If you do not recall if you order, please email Kelsey at president@viewridgeschool.porg

School Supply List

Kindergarten

In lieu of an emergency kit, we are asking for a reassuring letter/photo(s) to help calm your child if there’s a challenging situation at school. Please place these in an envelope marked with your child’s name. We are in the process of creating communal emergency supplies that don’t need to be replaced each year.

  • Backpack- big enough to fit a legal-size folder
  • Sport-Top water bottle
  • Lunch box (if bringing lunch)
  • We also ask parents to put their child’s name on everything the child will be bringing to school (coat, lunchbox, water bottle, backpack, etc.).
  • $25.00 for classroom supplies (payment will be made via SchoolPay. Info available in September.)

If you are unable to provide any of the “supplies” listed above, please let your child’s teacher know.
