Welcome new and returning students! The View Ridge PTA and View Ridge staff would love for you to join us in celebrating the start of our 2024-25 school year on Tuesday, September 3th from 3:30pm-6:00pm. Teachers will be available to meet incoming students from 3:30pm-4:00pm, then we will have Food Trucks and outdoor activities with Back Yard PE and the Seattle Bubbleman. The meet and greet will be outside by the View Ridge Elementary playground on the north side of the school (where 48th Ave NE and 49th Ave NE intersect the school). The school will be closed, but restrooms will be open.
Food trucks will arrive at 4:00pm on 50th Ave NE in front of the school. We encourage you to bring a blanket and/or chairs, and we invite you to eat on the lawn in front of the school, the playgrounds, or wherever feels most comfortable. Also, please consider participating in the VRE Rainbow to facilitate meeting families in the same grade.
RSVP to the picnic by buying a free “ticket.” The View Ridge PTA does appreciate any donations with your ticket to support events throughout the year. Thank you, and we are excited to see you in the Fall!!
