If you have questions about View Ridge in general, you can learn more at View Ridge A to Z.

Here are some questions that we frequently get about after-school activities.  If you have another question, please send the After-School Team an email at sarahrose206@gmail.com.

  • How do I let you/the class teacher know that my child will be absent?
  • How do I let everyone know that my child will be absent?
  • When can I register?
  • When do classes start?
  • Where do I pick up my child?
  • I have a suggestion. Can we offer a XXX class?
  • Are there scholarships?
  • Can I volunteer?
  • Why do classes start so late in the school year? Can we start after-school classes at the beginning of the year?
  • Does the school office know where my class is?

How do I let you/the class teacher know that my child will be absent?

Email us at: sarahrose206@gmail.com. You can also contact the class provider using the contact info that they provided when you registered for the class.  Please note that the school office doesn’t manage after school activities.

When can I register?

We open registration 2 or more weeks before the start of each class session. You can see an example of classes on our After-school activities page.  More information can be found here: https://www.hof-teamcamp.com/afterschool-view-ridge

When do classes start?

There are three sessions in the school year: Fall (October), Winter (January), and Spring (April). You can see the start dates for classes at our main After-school activities page.

Where do I pick up my child?

You can pick up your child in the classroom where they are having the activity. Information will be provided by our partners from Hall of Fame.

I have a suggestion. Can we offer a XXXX class?

We are happy to hear suggestions. If you have the name of a company, that’s even better. Please contact Sara Rey (sara@hof-teamcamp.com) with Hall of Fame to share what you are thinking.

Are there scholarships? Can I volunteer?

Need-based scholarships are available! You can email nojungbluth@seattleschools.org. Early registration for scholarship recipients is also available, contact to receive that option, or you can enroll normally at the Hall of Fame website and check the box requesting a scholarship. Why do classes start so late in the school year? Can we start after-school classes at the beginning of the year?

Currently, Seattle Public Schools does not let us schedule classes until 4 weeks after the start of the school year.

Does the school office know where my class is?

There is a calendar posted on the office door, but the school office doesn’t manage the after-school activities. If you have a question, it’s better to ask the Hall of Fame volunteer in the lunchroom how to find a class.
