View Ridge was just acknowledged by the state for achievement gains representing the past three years.  Of particular note is recognition for achievement in four out of the seven categories.  We’re the only school in Seattle Public Schools receiving achievement in four areas: Overall Excellence, High Progress, Special Recognition ELA Growth, and Closing the Achievement Gap (Students with Disabilities).  It’s nice to be able to share positive news that is based on everyone working together on the behalf of all of our students, staff and families.  I’m extremely proud of everyone and excited to share the news.  So, time to soak up the accolades and celebrate some success!  We’re attaching the link (here and below) for more detail and explanation on the 280 schools that have just won the state’s highest honor.

We hope everyone is ready for the auction this Friday.  We’re wearing western gear tomorrow in honor of this event.  So round up the wagons as we move on to more continued success for the View Ridge community!
