Reading lists?!  None of us want our children to do the “summer slide”  ̶  a decline in reading skills over the long break. However, many of us hear our children say they don’t know what to read next.

Here are two books lists to help keep your children reading:

• Summer Reading Suggestions 2019 – collaboratively compiled by the NE Seattle Public School librarians for all elementary aged students.
• YRC Sasquatch Otter 2019 2020 – children entering 3rd-5th grade can participate in the Soda Float Challenge.
