Our last chance to propose any changes to the North Link Mobility Project, which is defining METROs bus plan for the post-link station opening will end on November 1st.
- Route 71: being eliminated; because it is being replaced by a new route 79 and revisions to route 74
- Route 79: new route being added; links View Ridge community to Roosevelt link station via NE 75th Street and provide direct access to Eckstein Middle School. Additionally, route 79 will continue east to Sand Point Way via NE 65th and become route 74 which will provide one-seat travel between View Ridge and the University District; will not run on Saturday and Sunday;
- Route 74: revisions
- There will be no bus service along 40th Ave, NE between NE 85th and NE 75th St where many retail businesses such as QFC, Rite Aid and Bank of America are located.
View Ridge residents can learn more about the project by visiting this link: kingcounty.gov/metro/northlink.
There is also a survey for residents to complete an on-line survey to let Metro how we are impacted by these changes. The survey closes Sunday, November 1 at 11:59pm. That survey can be found at the following link:
