SCPTSA: Upcoming Budget Shortfall Update and Advocacy Meeting

Facebooktwittermail

Next year the district is facing a budget shortfall. Seattle Council PTSA is partnering with SPS leadership to co-host a 2020-21 budget update on Thursday, February 25th from 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm. Attendees will receive an overview of the district’s budget landscape, the projected budget gap for next year and beyond, and what this means for our schools. After the district’s presentation and Q&A, SCPTSA Legislative Chair Eddie Lin and SCPTSA District 3 Area Director Sam Fogg will share important information with members on how and where to advocate for funding at the legislative level.

Pre-registration is required. Language interpretation will be available.
